Job Description
The Palestinian Authority Capacity Enhancement Project (PACE) is working with the Palestinian Authority (PA) to improve the institutional capacity and the delivery of government services to citizens. The multi-year project is being implemented by Chemonics International Inc., a private international company, with funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). In anticipation of a possible extension of the project and subject to   available funds, PACE is seeking highly qualified and motivated individuals to fill long-term position.
Technical Program Coordinator

 Key Responsibilities:

-Provide daily support to the project’s technical team to implement timely and effective interventions.
-Schedule a variety of district technical meetings with counterparts; arrange schedules and facilities, prepares and distributes agendas, information and minutes, as appropriate, and facilitate other necessary action through expediting and coordinating the flow of information.
-Provide necessary support to counterparts as requested and delegated by the technical team.
-Assist members of the technical team in preparing resolutions, memos, and routine correspondence dealing with subject matter using discretion and judgment, and in replying to inquiries presenting or requesting information, as needed.
-Maintain a filing system of program documents, entering data, reviews, and examines for errors and makes correction, in accordance with established practices.
-Assist in collecting necessary information from counterparts and prepare vetting forms for USAID approval.
-Contribute in providing translations, English to Arabic and Arabic to English, and provide ad hoc translation and interpretation services as necessary.
-Help develop materials and resources to assist reporting and verification.

Qualifications:
-Minimum of a BA degree in a relevant field.
-Minimum 3 years work experience
-Strong written and spoken Arabic and English language skills.
-Ability to take initiative and work effectively as part of a team.
-Computer proficiency, especially in MS Word and MS Excel.
-Being able to display enthusiasm, stamina, and patience
-Ability to assemble information and contribute to report writing and documents in a concise, clear, and effective manner.
-Ability to make independent judgments in absence of supervision, to acquire knowledge of topics related to the position.
-Skill in developing and maintaining cooperative and courteous relationships with program team.
-Must be adaptable to performing under minimal stress when confronted with an emergency.
-Knowledge of administrative practices and public relation techniques as necessary in the completion of daily responsibilities.
-Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and manage time well.
