Organization: Palestine Technopark

Job Purpose:

Provide technical management  and support for projects in the Technopark's technology programs and labs. Ensure smooth execution of lab initiatives through effective technical planning, communication and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage  and oversee technical aspects of projects from setup to implementation in the labs.
  • Manage  projects from planning to implementation, keeping teams on track against objectives and timelines.
  • Schedule and organize project meetings, track action items and ensure tasks are assigned and completed.
  • Assist with budgeting, resource allocation and expenditure tracking for projects.
  • Create and maintain detailed project documentation such as plans, reports and presentation materials.
  • Communicate regularly with project sponsors, partners and other stakeholders to keep them updated.
  • Plan and procure hardware, software, tools and equipment needed in the labs.
  • Install, configure and test technical infrastructure like servers, networks and workstations.
  • Support startup incubation program through technical guidance.
  • Assist in organization of technical workshops/training programs.
  • Provide technical inputs to proposals, reports and presentations.
  • Keep abreast of new technologies and evaluate relevance to labs.
  • Responsible for the overall implementation of projects
  • Administrative and technical supervision and following up of the activities implementation.
  • Contribute to the development of new program ideas in the field of work.
  • Ensures that all program activities are implemented in a timely manner and according to the donor’s rules and regulations.
  • Plan and supervise regular field visits to ensure proper implementation of the activities on the ground.
  • Responsible on monitoring and evaluation of project carried activities, including preparation of periodical reports as requested by the donor 
  • Document all activities of the project and maintain an efficient filing system including all project related documents.
  • Helping in the execution and following up on PITP projects: liaising, awareness, PR, social networks, content development and coordination with other stakeholders.
  • Organize, plan and direct the resources available for the business startup incubation process.
  • Provide technical support in market analysis by identifying prospective clients and facilitating the relevant relationships in such a manner as to cultivate the sustainability of the programs.
  • Communicate the value of the incubatees’ products and/or services to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly program progress reports.
  • Prepare and facilitate workshops and meetings.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electronics Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a technical lab or core technology role
  • At least 4-5 years’ experience working with entrepreneurs, start-ups, learning/ tinkering labs, incubator or incubation consultancy.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate, build and maintain strong working relationships with start-ups, entrepreneurs, mentors, universities, research institutions, industry experts, associations, chamber of commerce & industries, state & central government, and angel investors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Effective technical documentation and communication skills
  • Passion for emerging technologies and startup innovation
  • Project management and stakeholder coordination skills
