Technical Support Engineer
Required Experience and Qualifications for the Technical Support engineer position
- You will be required to have Bachelor's degree in computer science, telecommunications or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the field.
- Minimum knowledge in Linux operating systems.
- Minimum knowledge in MySQL and Oracle Databases.
- Very Good English language is a must.
- Problem solving ability, creativity to "think-outside-the-box".
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate information in a clear and correct manner to both business and technical audiences.
- Strong relationship building skills can positively influence on the customers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments and projects.
- Self-motivated, directed and passionate about learning new things, team player.
- Ability to act professionally under stress.
- Computer literacy: good Excel, Word, Project & PowerPoint skills.
- Position may be required to work outside of normal business hours including weekends and company holidays to meet customer and/or business needs.
Additional Requirements (is a Plus):
- Good in Unix/Linux, MySQL and Oracle Databases.
- Good experience in Telecom domain and Telecom’s protocol’s (SS7, SMPP, CAP, INAP etc…).
- Experience troubleshooting networking, TCP/IP,, SNMP, NTP, SMTP, DNS and client/server technology.
- Knowledge in programming languages (Perl/shell/bash scripting).
- Experience working on hardware platforms (HP, Dell servers)
- Experience with SOAP, REST, JSON and/or HTTP API’s.
