Job Summary:
The Tenders and Key Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the tender process and senior client accounts. This role involves preparing and submitting tenders, managing key client relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective account management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tender management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Tender Management:
    • Lead the preparation, submission, and management of tender documents.
    • Analyze tender requirements and develop comprehensive bid strategies.
    • Coordinate with various departments to gather the necessary information for tender submissions.
    • Ensure all tender submissions are compliant with client specifications and deadlines.
    • Conduct post-tender analysis and feedback to improve future submissions.
  • Key Accounts Management:
    • Manage and nurture relationships with senior clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior accounts, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
    • Develop and implement account plans to achieve client objectives and company goals.
    • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services to senior clients.
    • Monitor account performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through tenders and existing client networks.
    • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for expanding the client base.
    • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company and build relationships.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Provide guidance and support to junior team members involved in tender preparation and account management.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging continuous improvement and innovation.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tender management and account management, preferably related fields.
  • a proven track record of successfully managing and winning tenders.
  • Strong understanding of tender processes, procurement regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tender management software.
