The Danish House in Palestine seeks devoted intern

The Danish House in Palestine (DHIP) is looking for a Palestinian intern to assist in the daily operations of our office in Ramallah. The Palestinian applicant will work closely with a Danish intern during her/his time at DHIP. Primary responsibilities include communications, outreach, and website management.

We offer the opportunity to work in a dynamic office in an international environment. Interns will gain insight into practices of intercultural project development and implementation in a unique, emerging organization. 

Please note the internship is unpaid.

Duration: 15 September 2010 - 31 January 2011
Start date: 15 September or as soon as possible thereafter

required qualifications

Palestinian intern
-BA in communications, English, political science, journalism or other relevant field
-Knowledge of Scandinavia/European cultures
-Good communication skills in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
-Experience with webpage management
-Strong sense of initiative
-Works well in teams
-Experience in intercultural dialogue and exchange projects considered an asset
