Terms of reference (ToR) for a baseline study DANIDA/CISU funded project:
Strengthening community responses to economic and social marginalisation of vulnerable families in Hebron
Background:
Rural Women’s Development Society and SOS Children’s Villages are jointly implementing the CISU funded project: “Strengthening community responses to economic and social marginalisation of vulnerable families in Hebron”. The project period is three years and is expected to end by December 2016.
The project is part of SOS PS’ larger programme termed Family Strengthening Programme (FSP) and RWDS’ programme to empower marginalised women and communities. This entails baseline that will map out individual families’ situations, CBOs’ capacity, use of and access to public services, school attendance etc.
Expected deliverables:
-Detailed baseline framework/design and implementation plan, including data collection tools, agreed with SOS PS and RWDS.
-Draft baseline report, presentation of findings and final report
Qualifications:
-Post-graduate degree in Social Sciences, Policy Studies, Education or Development Studies with proven experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis; experience in Psychology, Mental Health Social Work or Social Services is preferred.
-Proven experience in conducting research, baseline studies, evaluations and impact assessments.
-Strong command of the English language, especially strong English language writing skills.
