Training Of Trainers In Psychosocial Support Techniques

War Child (WC) is an independent and impartial international non-governmental organization investing in a peaceful future for children and young people affected by armed conflict. We strive to empower children and young people while enabling adults to bring about positive and lasting changes in the lives of conflict affected children and young people.


Scope of the consultancy:
WC is building the capacity of several implementing partners in Gaza Strip by developing the skills of staff and volunteers on several MHPSS techniques.

It will be done through a 6 day TRAINING OF TRAINERS that includes the following topics:

-Family intervention skills, knowledge and practice – which will develop the children’s life in Gaza and improve their family’s situation. 4 days.
-ISR, 1 day
-Stress Management, 1 day

The offers should include the following:

-A technical offer no exceeding 3 pages describing the methodology to be used.
-A detailed financial offer in EURO clearly indicating all fees and costs
-CV with cover letter indicating necessary qualifications and all relevant experience.
-Contact details of the last two references.

Commitment to the vision and goals of War Child Holland including adherence to the Child Safety Policy is required. Examples include:

-Ensure Child Safety and protection against potential risk at construction site; at the commencement of construction and proof clearing the site for child safety after completion of construction.
-Resist from engagements of children (persons below the age of 18) as workers in the construction.
-Keep the safety of children at primary consideration throughout the duration of the contract.
