General Description

Founded in 1992, the mission of the PCRF is to provide medical care for sick and injured children, regardless of their nationality or religion.  We do this by sending children abroad for free care, sponsoring volunteer medical teams to provide care for children and training for local medical personnel, as well as running humanitarian and developmental projects.  For more information, please visit: www.pcrf.net

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Supervise Psychologists And Social workers ,to prepare  proper intervention plan for their cases
• Provide consultation and psychological intervention as needed and conducted monthly training for the  team and volunteers
• Follow up the orphan mothers & the out abroad cases
• Provide training in CBT approach  to build team capacity
• Lead psychological support groups for children and families, as needed;  
• Provide reports to project manager on the team  progress on a monthly basis .

Knowledge and Experience :

• Degree in psychological counseling  or other relevant mental health specialist from accredited university – Master degree is preferable.
• knowledge and expertise on training and supervision
• High computer skills
• Reporting and documentation skills in Arabic and English languages
• At least five years of experience in mental health training and counseling
• Can work under pressure  

Training Topics :

• Child development and common behavioral problems
• Problem solving techniques
• Mental ill signs , symptoms
• Detection and  bathway Referral for children and parents who had chronic mental health problems
• Case Management approaches and protection system
• Creating Support groups
• Stress Management and Psychological first aid

Communication

Excellent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)

Teamwork

Establishes harmonious working relationships with team members.

Shows initiative in interacting with and collaborating with team members on projects and organization’s activities
