The Institute for Community Engagement & Partnership (ICP) at Bethlehem University was founded in 1989 as one of the community-service extension units of Bethlehem University. The ICP is an integral unit of the University’s academic life which undertakes the responsibility of strengthening the ties between the University and the Palestinian community. The BU strives to join forces towards enriching and developing the entire Palestinian community through identifying emerging developmental needs and being proactively responsive to these needs through designing and implementing innovative and impact-oriented interventions.

ICP contributes to the continuous development of the Palestinian human capital on a national level, believing in our philosophy that human capital is the most valuable asset of any organization and society, and thus foresee its main role to unlock competencies and unleash potentials which leads to sustainable impact. ICP aims to empower individuals, organizations, and sectors by partnering up with beneficiaries and stakeholders to achieve multi-level benefits for the common good.
