Background:
PWWSD is implementing the project “Building Resilience: Empowering Women and Girls in Conflict-Affected Areas,” funded by FCDO-UK Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office, in collaboration with Save the Children (SCI). This project seeks to enhance the protection capacity of community-based protection committees through targeted training on Psychological First Aid (PFA), basic helping skills, GBV risk mitigation, and related protection topics.
Objective:
The objective of these trainings is to equip protection committee members with the skills necessary to effectively address protection issues in their communities. The trainings will focus on Psychological First Aid (PFA), Basic Helping Skills, GBV Risk Mitigation, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), and Safe Recognition and Referral. A total of 90 participants will be trained across 6 locations(Jenin,Tulkarem,Ramalla ,Salfet ,Tubasand Nablus), with 15 participants per location.
Note: The trainer has the flexibility to select one or more subjects based on their qualifications, as well as the option to choose one or multiple governorates to conduct the trainings. Trainers can either deliver training on individual subjects in specific locations or take on the full package across multiple locations, depending on their preference.

Key Responsibilities:
- Development of Training Package:
- Develop a comprehensive training package that covers:
- Psychological First Aid (PFA).
- Basic Helping Skills.
- GBV Risk Mitigation.and protection
- Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA).
- .child protection and National Refferal system
- Ensure training materials are relevant, culturally sensitive, and easily accessible.
- Training Delivery:
- Deliver six training days, each in a different location across the West Bank.
- Train 90 participants in total, with 15 participants per location
- Use interactive and participatory training methods to engage participants and ensure practical skill-building.
- Monitoring and Reporting:
- Ensure full participation from protection committee members in each location.
- Gather feedback from participants to assess the effectiveness of the sessions.
- Submit a comprehensive report after each training detailing participant attendance, feedback, and any challenges faced. Analytical pre &Post .
- Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Collaborate with Save the Children (SCI) and PWWSD to ensure that the training package aligns with project objectives.
- Coordinate with relevant agencies to ensure the accuracy of referral pathways and protection protocols.

Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in conducting training on PFA, GBV risk mitigation, and community-based protection.
- Strong understanding of PSEA, referral pathways(National referral system, and protection mechanisms within conflict-affected areas.
- Experience working with protection committees or similar structures.
- Fluency in Arabic and excellent facilitation skills in both group and individual settings.
Deliverables:
- Development of a training package that covers one or more of the five key topics, based on the trainer’s qualifications, with the option to address these topics in one or multiple governorates. Trainers may choose to develop and deliver separate packages for individual topics or create a comprehensive package covering all five topics.
- Delivery of six training days, targeting 90 participants (15 participants per location).
- Submission of detailed reports for each training, including participant attendance and feedback.
