AMIDEAST, an international non-profit organization in the West Bank and Gaza, is seeking full-time dynamic and qualified candidates for its USAID funded education program-Model Schools Network (MSN) Program to serve as Training Coordinators, and Training Assistant for its Professional Development Section, and Procurement and Logistic Officer
- Hebron for its Procurement Section. The program is currently providing school teachers in 17 private schools with the knowledge and skills necessary to teach math, science and grades 1-3 more effectively within the Palestinian context. The program will be expanding to include 40 public schools in various geographical locations in the West Bank; AMIDEAST is recruiting for the following position:
Training Coordinators
Overall Position Responsibilities:
The two training coordinators, who will be based in Hebron and Nablus, are expected to oversee the successful implementation of the training components in the schools in the two geographical locations,
and will have the following responsibilities:
-Coordinate with other program staff and with the main office in Ramallah to ensure the successful implementation of the training components in the two locations.
-Provide feedback on training content, approach and impact evaluation.
-Provide feedback on training manuals including trainers’ notes.
-Help developing lists of professional development resources
-Prepare training schedules for the various trainings in the various locations.
-Oversee and ensure the proper implementation of the trainings
-Provide continued support to the trainers and trainees.
-Maintain a professional yet friendly relationship with the teachers in training, the trainers and administrative staff
-Follow AMIDEAST standard operating procedures

Minimum Qualifications and Required Skills
-At least 5 years of administrative experience in an NGO.
-Teaching and professional development experience. Experience managing training programs, capacity building and events.
-Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
-Excellent oral and written communication in both Arabic and English.
-Excellent interpersonal skills
-Must possess problem-solving skills, be a team player and a self-starter.
-Excellent computer skills.
-Ability to move within the West Bank
-A valid driving license.
-Preferably, holder of master’s degree in related field
