Organizational Overview:
The Palestinian Education for Employment Foundation (PEFE) is an affiliate of the US-based non-profit Education for Employment Foundation (EFE).  EFE has five affiliates in Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Palestine and Yemen with a sister foundation in Spain.  The mission of PEFE and all affiliates is to create job opportunities for unemployed youth in the Middle East and North Africa by providing world-class professional and technical training that leads directly to career-building jobs. Our vision is a future in which all young people have the chance to reach their full potential through satisfying careers that enable them to contribute positively to their societies and their world.   

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Training:

The Training Officer will be responsible for the quality effectiveness and efficiency of PEFE’s demand driven training programs. This will include but is not limited to:
-Planning, organizing, and directing a wide range of training activities.
-Identify and qualify potential training projects through careful needs assessments and preparation of accurate description of training program requirements
-Assist in selection, training, management, and evaluation of PEFE trainers
-Management of training program delivery
-Assist in the development, design and implementation of PEFE training curriculum and educational systems
-Assist Program Manager on all educational and training affairs
-Assist in preparation of the training budget
-Assist in proposal writing

Outreach Coordinator:
Working with the Corporate Engagement and Outreach Manager to secure job commitments with the private sector and employer partners.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Bachelor’s Degree or higher in relevant field;
-Minimum 5 years of experience in education and training;
-Demonstrated experience in conducting skill needs analysis and developing employer-driven educational and training programs;
-Demonstrated ability to effectively manage educational training programs;
-Written and spoken fluency in English and Arabic;
-Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills;
-Strong consultative communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
-Computer skills
