Training on "Working in the Global Economy" - Gaza

Palestine Education for Employment (PEFE), a non-profit organization aimed mainly at creating job opportunities for Palestinian youth through training and raising their scientific and practical competencies, is announcing a new training course on Working in the Global Economy WGE. WGE is a comprehensive and experiential training program that provides university graduates with the necessary skills to work in the global marketplace through remote assignments, contracts and employment. It equips students with tools to locate, manage and maintain steady work while increasing their marketability in a highly technological workforce.

The training will cover the following components:

A-Workplace Success  (50 hours)
B-Business English (40 hours)
C-Technical part on Working in the Global Economy (WGE)(35- hours) comprised of 7 units providing trainees with the following :
a-How to fit your skills into the global marketplace.
b-Moving past obstacles to work in the global marketplace.
c-Assessing opportunities to work in the global marketplace.
d-Research skills on finding freelance jobs globally
e-Building expertise and refining their personal brand
f-Learning to work remotely
g-Digital media exercises, role playing, network environments
h-Engaging in professional opportunities. 

Admission requirements for training:
-Maximum 29 years of age
-BA degree in English Literature, Information Technology, Media, or any relevant specialization.
-English proficiency:  excellent speaking, writing, and comprehension because the training will be conducted in English.
-Commitment in attending all training hours
-Not currently employed
-Interview
