Training provider for Full-Length ICT Technical Courses

Request for Proposals (RFP) for:
“Full-Length ICT Technical Course:
Cross-Platform Mobile Apps Development with Appcelerator Titanium
for ICT Graduates and Professionals” - Gaza Strip

Mercy Corps is seeking a qualified training provider to prepare and deliver Full-Length ICT Technical Courses during the summer of 2014.

In Gaza, Mercy Corps implements the Palestinian Community Assistance Program (PCAP), a multi-sectoral, four year program funded by USAID. Under the economic development pillar of PCAP, Mercy Corps works to prepare youth or underemployed adults to become productive members of the workforce through skills training and professional development.

Objectives:
The main objective of the activity is to prepare developers and mobile developers to produce functional Android and IOS applications using Cross-Platform Mobile App Development with Appcelerator Titanium. 

Target Group: 
This activity will provide assistance to:
-Recent graduates of ICT or ICT-user fields; particularly those for whom ICT is a career or self-employment path.
-Recently employed / self-employed ICT software developers and professionals whose updated skills will enhance their opportunities.

Interested service providers can receive the hard copy for the RFP Tuesday May 27th, 2014 from the Mercy Corps offices in Gaza according to the following address: Abu‐Galion Building‐2, Ahmad Orabi Street. Gaza City. Phone No. 08‐2826331. Deadline for receiving the bids is Thursday June 12th, 2014 12:00 PM. 

Submissions for Gaza bidders should be on hard copies in sealed envelopes and must be delivered to the above mentioned address. Deadline is Thursday June 19th, 2014 03:00 PM

A pre Bid-meeting will take place on Thursday June 12th, 2014 12:00 PM at Mercy Corps Office.
