Job Description
Terre des hommes Foundation - Lausanne is a Swiss-based international non-governmental organisation dedicated to children assistance and protection.
Location: Hebron City
Position: Translator and Reporting Officer
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Convert, simultaneously or consecutively, original written and oral materials in one language (English/Arabic) into the targeted language (English/Arabic)
-Provide well-expressed, edited final versions of translated documents
-Seek for the adequate legal, technical and scientific phraseology, including technical terms, in order to achieve a good translation
-Develop appropriate monitoring and evaluation tools of the project
-Draft monthly report and the final reports in collaboration with the Project Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCES:
-University degree in English as a foreign Language
-At least 3 years INGO experience in translation/interpretation English/Arabic
-Excellent skills in organizing and coordinating diverse activities
-Skills in analyzing, generalizing, and systematizing of information
-Good writing and reporting skills
-Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet)
PERSONAL QUALITIES REQUIRED:
-Ability to be flexible, cooperative and to work autonomously
-Ability to work in a team
-Strong analytical, leadership and organizational skills
-Good communication and reporting skills Initiative and resourcefulness
-Understanding, interest and commitment to humanitarian activities
