Treasury Employee

Bank of Palestine is intending to recruit qualified employees to fill Head of Investment section vacancies at Investment and Placements Department in General Management, Ramallah.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate financial and investment information, typically to make buy, sell and hold recommendations for securities.
• Buy-side analysts and identify investment opportunities for the bank.
• Collect information, perform research, and analyze assets, such as stocks, bonds, currencies, funds, and commodities. 
• Collect and interpret data, such as company financial statements, price developments, currency adjustments, and yield fluctuations.
• Examine and assess economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements, and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies.
• Monitor closely financial press and keep a track of market trends, opportunities, risks, and new investment products.
• Compile advisory reports and make informed recommendations on new investment opportunities and funds that could enhance or diversify portfolios.
• Develop complex financial models and analyze legal documents.
• Extensively utilize sophisticated analytical tools and applications to support the investment management process
• Suggest recommendations for improvement of investment portfolios to enhance portfolio yield.
• Maintain up to date documentation of all investments
• Perform financial due diligence and analysis on new opportunities and recommend an investment decision.
• Monitoring all investments and concluding of former investments to derive information for future investment plans.

Education: 

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business is the minimum requirement. 
• MBAs and higher degrees in accounting, statistics, and economics are a plus.
• Professional certificate CFA level 1 and 2 is a must.
• minimum 2 years of practical experience, such as an investment analyst or in a related field.
  

Skills: 

• Good skills and presentation skills with graphs and charts to illustrate the data and convey convincing recommendations.
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
• An analytical mind (skills) with a keen sense of mathematical patterns and correlations. 
• Strong knowledge of the financial markets.
• Ability to perform fundamental and technical analysis.
• Ability to perform valuations for unquoted investments & startups companies with different approaches.
