UNRWA/Assistant Psychosocial Supervisor

  UNRWA is the largest United Nations programme in the Middle East. It provides education, health care, relief assistance and social services to Palestine refugees. UNRWA is currently inviting applications from qualified men and women for the following opening in our West BankField Office in Jerusalem:

 

 

Duty Station :     Jerusalem Area VN/040/2010/X
                             Hebron Area    VN/041/2010/X
Basic Salary : 668.55 JD that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency.
A l l o w a n c e s : Family Allowances payable up to 7 children and spouse.
Other Benefits: Health Insurance, Provident Fund
Qualifications:
1-Minimum of a B.A degree in Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Psychology or Social Work.
2-M.A degree in Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Psychology or Social Work is preferable.
3-At least three years of experience in Psychosocial Counseling and/or in Social Work practice
of which one year should have been in handling administrative duties.
4-Excellent knowledge of Ms Word.

-Excellent command of written and spoken Arabic and English.
-Ability to deal with people tactfully.
-Ability to work under pressure.
-Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a team.
