Deputy Chief, Field Infrastructure and Camp Improvement Programme

Duty Station : Field Office-Jerusalem
Department :Infrastructure and Camp Improvement
Basic Salary : 1,208.8+ that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency.
Other fringe bene ts include provident fund & health insurance.
-Allowances :Family Allowances payable up to 7 children and spouse.
-An allowance of 1000 NIS payable in JD at UNRWA rate.
50% of the basic salary as Special Occupational Allowance
Qualifications:
An advanced university degree in civil/structural engineering or architecture.
At least eight years’ experience in design, planning and implementation of infrastructure and camp improvement works, of which at least three years with a supervisory relevant responsibility at large commercial or governmental institutions or NGOs operating in works and projects of a similar size. Excellent command of spoken and written English and Arabic
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
-Knowledge of project and grants management.
-Knowledge of relevant local laws and regulations
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
-Required to travel outside the eld for duty purposes;
Requested to drive within the eld in performing his/her duties, thus s/he must be willing and capable of
driving a UN Vehicle.
-Required to work beyond regular working hours.
