-Basic Salary: 755.9 JD+ that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency. Other fringe bene ts include provident fund & health insurance.
Family Allowances payable up to 7 children and spouse.
Allowances: An allowance of 1000 NIS payable in JD at UNRWA rate.
Qualifications:
-A university degree, preferably in social science, political affairs, international relations, law or a related eld.
-At least two years of experience in humanitarian / relief emergency operations.
-Excellent command of spoken and written English and Arabic.
Competencies:
-Flexible, able to assess and analyze situations quickly, objectively and prudently.
-Ability to build and sustain effective work relationships with clients, partners and authorities to achieve common goals.
-Ability to counsel or deal with people who are in shock or suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
-Good interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships and working relations in a multi-cultural
environment.
-Very good communication skills.
-Ability to work under pressure and within a team.
-Ability to make immediate decisions in dangerous situations, to ensure the safety and security of personnel.
-Articulate, politically aware while remaining impartial and discreet at all times.
-Desirable Qualifications:
Experience with radio communication procedures. Experience working in humanitarian and human rights affairs.
Possession of a valid driving license for more than two years. The incumbent must be in possession to travel in the eld during the performance of his / her duties.
Knowledge of Hebrew.
Able to drive in West Bank (including Jerusalem).
