UNRWA is the largest United Nations programme in the Middle East. It provides education, health care, relief assistance and social services to Palestine refugees. UNRWA is currently inviting applications from qualified men and women for the following opening in our West BankField Office in Jerusalem:

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees invites applications from qualified candidates for the post of:
Senior Personnel Assistant (Recruitment)
1-Duty Station : Field Office - Jerusalem
Personnel Division.
Vacancy No. 051/2010/X
2-Grade & Salary : LDC Contract Band “E” – For one year.
: 770.3 JD that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency.
3-Allowances : Dependency Allowances payable and other benefits
(Medical Insurance) & Currency Adjustment Factor
4-Qualifications:
-A university degree in Business Administration, Personnel or Public Administration, Computer Science or related discipline.
-Demonstrated Computer kills preferable good knowledge of spread sheets, Paradox and other application used by the Agency.
-Five years experience in personnel administration preferably staff recruitment and selection, two of which at a supervisory level in a personnel – related function.
-Fluency in English and Arabic
-Formal training in staff recruitment or human resources management.

The Agency maintains the discretion to fill future vacancies for this position from the roster without re-advertising the vacancy.
