Urban Planner 

A professional consulting firm locating at Ramallah specialized in spatial and strategic planning and infrastructure development engineering works.

Since its establishment the company involved in a large number of projects both in Palestine’s inland region (West Bank) and coastal region (Gaza Strip) in the areas of socioeconomic studies, town and regional planning, housing, architecture and building engineering, road and traffic engineering, water supply and distribution, sewage and storm water drainage systems, irrigation systems, industrial development projects, and the development of teaching and laboratory programs for academic and technical institutions

The professional services offered by us in these areas include preliminary investigations and comprehensive research, field studies and reports, performance evaluation studies, engineering and economic feasibility studies, master planning, preliminary and detailed engineering designs for buildings and infrastructure projects, the preparation of tender documentation and the provision of construction management/quality assurance services during project construction and operation, project scheduling, monitoring and appraisal. 

Job Title:
Urban Planner 

Description of Responsibilities:

The Urban Planner will fulfill the following functions and be responsible for their results:

- Prepare planning packages: prepare master plans, SDFs, Action plans, Planning Reports, planning programs, outline plans on AutoCAD, attend meetings with the MoLG, local authorities, local communities and relevant stakeholders.

- Project management: Support the team leader and the Program Manager by providing appropriate technical and management support.

-High team spirit accompanied by excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- professional in AutoCAD and GIS,  MS Office proficiency is a must.

Impact of Results

-The Urban Planner will play a key role in the quality assurance of the project results, in relation to his/her field of expertise and help to ensure efficiently and effective project management.

Preferably to be a resident in Ramallah or Al Bireh Cities.

Education:
Minimum to have a BSc degree preferably in urban planning, Architecture, or related field.

Language Requirements:

Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic;

Experience:
3 - 7 years relevant professional experience
