Veterinary Doctor

 

ACTED is a French humanitarian international NGO working in the West Bank since 2007. We are seeking : Veterinary Doctor , Project: “Emergency Live hood support to vulnerable small-scale breeders and most vulnerable food insure households”.
Start date : ASAP. Salary 4500 NIS per month net or depending on experience - Full Time Position.
Based in Salfeet, the Veterinary Doctor will bear the following main responsibilities:
Program Support”:
- Set up plan for the Vet visits.
-Conduct a vet visit for all the beneficiaries’ flocks.
-Lead the Vaccination campaign.
- Having a complete data base concentrating the findings of the vet visit.
- Submitting a detailed report concerning the vet visits.
- Liaise with logistics for supply issues.
- Coordinate and carry out the monitoring and evaluation techniques
(monitoring sheets , monitoring rounds , else.)
-Ensure that all documents related to the above mentioned tasks are complete and available.
-Other tasks within the field supervisor qualifications as required by ACTED’s work (assessments , external contacts and/or representation).
Required skills:
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience working in the agricultural sector preferably with NGOs/INGOs.
- University degree in Veterinary medicine.
- Excellent computer skills including Excel.
-Fluent English and Arabic
- Highly organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines effectively
- Driving License preferred
