International Medical Corps began working in Gaza in late 2008, after Israel launched a military offensive that displaced thousands of civilians. We responded with mobile medical teams cross-trained in mental health and continue our work in improving the health and well-being of the people of Gaza through a mental health program that builds the capacity of local service providers.

POSITION TITLE:Warehouse Officer
Field site :Gaza
Date Position is needed:1st October
Contract duration :8 months
Proposed salary (within IMC established salary ranges):USD 700


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/SCOPE OF WORK :

-To ensure proper maintenance of logistics store by handling the keys and ensuring the stores/stock are kept clean and in order.
-To ensure that the stores are ordered and items are stored well.
-To keep records of all logistic stock by updating stocks cards and registers all incoming/outgoing materials an
-Ensure that proper procedures are followed during receipt and issue of materials to and from the warehouse
-Establish proper filling for all warehouse document  according to IMC guidelines
-Prepare warehouse report on a monthly basis
-Update warehouse ledger on a daily basis
-Ensure cleanliness of warehouse and that warehouse is free of rodents
-Communicate with programs and update them of any stock movement as per their request
-Manage  loaders in loading/unloading deliveries
-To carry out any other duties that might be assigned by fully authorized persons.


Personnel Qualification
-College Diploma and 3 years experience in warehousing
-Computer literate with knowledge on Microsoft Excel
-Written and spoken English
-Flexibility in working hours
