Warehouse Supervisor - Middle Area

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
Reporting to the ATLAS Platform Project Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for the overall implementation of the storage services, as well as the management of the team (storekeepers) dedicated to the stocks.
Missions and responsibilities:
Mission 1. Ensuring the operational implementation of the storage services:
- Under the supervision of Project Manager, plans the operations and the implementation of activities as defined by the Project Manager.
- Under the supervision of Project Manager, plans activities efficiently and in accordance with NGO’s request of service.
- Participates in the development of new services in line with the orientations given by the HI-ATLAS Platform’s project Manager.
- Ensures that the operational implementation of the project achieved the objectives set by the project manager.
- Evaluates the respond and the quality of the services of storage.
- Implements continuous actions to improve the quality of service.
- Helps the project manager to design and improve tools and documents on storage activities for knowledge capitalization purposes.
Mission 2. Managing the operational team:
- Manages the HI-ATLAS Platform’s team under your responsibility.
- Conducts support missions (training, mentoring, support, recruitment, internal audit, handovers).
- Ensures the good accountability of process documents and ensuring the accuracy of information.
- With the operational team, assists the Platform administrator to archive the different folder by setting up training and use of operational documents (bin cards, inventory reports etc.).
- Ensures good communication-coordination-information with and between members of the team.
- Supports your operational team with drafting their action plans and establishing their objectives.
- Wherever possible, ensures training for your teams and the transfer of skills in areas linked to their positions.
- Ensures proper logistical management of the operational team close collaboration with the support services.
Mission 3. Communicating on the HI Platform’s project
- With delegated authority from the project manager, represents HI-ATLAS Platform during the HI internal meeting.
- Ensures that the flow of information between the different project and support departments is smooth and efficient.
- Under the supervision of HI-ATLAS Platform Storage Project Manager, establishes contacts and operational links with daily worker, humanitarian stakeholders etc.
- Produces regular activity reports for the HI-ATLAS Platform Storage Project Manager.
- Helps the NGO about the appropriate logistic for their action and proposes the best solution of storage.
- Ensures that communication with partners is in line with the Project Manager's strategy.
- Participates in conveying a professional and cordial image to partners

Job profile requirements:
- Degree in Supply Chain (2 years of higher education);
- Qualification in the field of logistics (2 years of education);
- High analytical and logical capacity.
- 4 years’ experience in the storage (NGO or private company);
- At least 1-year experience in managing a team;
- Experience in an international NGO is a plus, HI experience is preferable.
- Good level in reading, writing and speaking English;
- Proficient: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Autonomy and ability to work in a team;
