Polish Humanitarian Organisation (PHO) is a humanitarian aid agency specialized in the field of water, sanitation and food security. Actually PHO is seeking a

Responsabilities:
1- Provide technical expertise in the area of water and sanitation.
2-Identify water and sanitation needs and provide recommendations for appropriate
interventions.
3-Prepare reports, analisis and project proposals in the area of water and sanitation.
4-Supervise water and sanitation projects implemented by PHO.
5-Supervise activities requiring technical expertise to ensure they are in accordance with
international and local standards.
6-Assess the environmental impact of the project activities (aquifier level, wastewater,
etc).
7- Set up, organize and plan WASH activities.
8-Establish a hygiene and water usage awareness campaign, including development of
training materials.
9- Make regular field visits.
10- Make changes to the activities as required during the project period.
11-Contribute to the final study and evaluation of the project.
12-Establish relations with palestinian water, sanitation and hygiene authorities in Ramallah and in the targeted province and districts and ensure the project is in compliance with government requirements.
13-Participate in WASH cluster meetings and coordinate meetings with other agencies
and NGOs implementing WASH activities in OPT.
14- Develop PHO’s WASH strategy – identify new locations for WASH interventions, plan future WASH activities and write WASH proposals.
Qualifications:
1- Higher vocational education in Water and Sanitation, preferably university degree in
hydro - engineering or associated field.
2-Minimum 3 years experience of implementing WASH activities.
3- Previous experience in NGO or humanitarian field.
4-Independent worker with good organizational skills.
5- Ability to deal with stressful situations.
6- Fluency (written and spoken) in English and Arabic.
7- Good computer skills.
