Web Application Security Specialist

The security specialist will perform detailed web application security assessments and penetration tests. The assessments involve manual testing and analysis as well as the use of automated web application vulnerability scanning/testing tools, performing source code reviews for security holes, investigating security issues such as Cross Site Scripting, SQL Injection, Cookie Manipulation, Buffer Overflows, etc. The security specialist will provide meaningful hardening and mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

-2+ Years working experience in application security and hardening.
-Experience looking for security issues such as Cross Site Scripting, SQL Injection, Cookie Manipulation, Buffer Overflows, etc.
-Experience with penetration testing, intrusion detection, and their tools.
-Experience with web application scanning tools/software.
-Experience with authentication, authorization and encryption mechanisms.
-Knowledge of TCP/IP ports, protocols, web browsers' intercommunications, and multiple OS.
-Java, PHP coding Experience.
-Object Oriented Programming Experience.
-Tomcat, MySql, SVN, FTP, SFTP, and SSH experience.
-Ability to conduct Source Code reviews.
-Excellent analytical ability with strong investigative, and research capabilities.
-Ability to work in team environment and under pressure.
-Knowledge of Agile process is a plus.
-Excellent English written / verbal communication skills.
