Welcome Assistant

The ICRC Delegation in Israel and the Occupied Territories (IL/OT), is recruiting a qualified candidate for the following position:
Welcome Assistant
Place of Employment : Jerusalem
Contract duration : 1 Year contract, renewable
Trial period : 3 months
Occupation rate : 100%
Job Grade : B1
Starting Date : October 2024
Main responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Welcome Supervisor in Jerusalem Welcome Assistant is responsible for staff administrative activities within the delegation.
The Welcome Assistant will carry the following tasks:
- Assists the Welcome department in all administrative activities as requested.
- Participates in organizing pick-up and accommodation (hotel, apartment, house) for staff and guests.
- Interacts with relevant authorities (ministries, consulates, etc.) regarding certificates, visas, permits registration, etc.
- Performs staff travel booking (plane, train, bus, etc.) He/she needs to be familiar with booking system (Neo).
- Organizes Welcome files, the Welcome events/meetings/seminars.
Other tasks:
- Assists the Administration department in premises management.
- Replaces the Premises Manager during her absence.
- Support Finance as deem necessary.

Education & professional experience:
- Diploma /Certificate in Hotel management or ticketing or relevant field
- Very Good command of English and Hebrew.
- Computer proficiency with good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Familiar with booking system (Neo system or relevant)
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in similar fields of activities.
- Very Good knowledge of issuing visas, permits, registration, etc.
- Driving License.
