Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a leading UK charity dedicated to improving the health and dignity of Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza. As part of our commitment to meeting the growing needs of the communities we serve, we're expanding our team.
MAP is seeking a Women’s Health Doctor who will be responsible for delivering comprehensive health services, including checkups, screenings, and medication prescriptions, primarily for women at the mobile clinic. Key responsibilities include providing antenatal care and family planning services, referring patients for lab tests and health education, and entering patient data into the clinic system. The role involves conducting periodic clinical audits, coordinating with MHPSS specialists on Sexual and Reproductive Health awareness, and contributing to clinic reports on women’s health issues. Flexibility to support the mobile health team and perform additional program-related tasks is essential.

The ideal candidate holds a medical degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum of twelve months of internship experience and a valid medical license to practice in the oPt. Extensive experience in medical, public, and community health settings is required, along with knowledge of humanitarian principles. The candidate must be willing to travel within the West Bank and should be proficient in both spoken and written English and Arabic is also required.
