Role Summary:

Experienced IT Enterprise Architect is required to provide consultancy, guidance and direction to Solution Architects, Developers, operations teams and other stakeholders, ensuring that projects-based solutions and operations, fit within the strategic IT/Business goals and objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:

-Assessing the current state at business, information, application and technology layers, Develop As-Is, To-Be Architecture and perform a gap analysis to derive the initiatives.
-Establishing a central and single repository for all enterprise architecture domains.
-Ensure that technology will serve the business strategy by aligning its principles, standards and guidelines in line with the business drivers and related operational components.
-Ensure compliance with internal and external international standards (Ex. eTOM, TAM, SID, PMP, ITIL, ISO XXX).
-Provide structured approach for application design and development activities and off-the-shelf application and integration implementation.
-Ensure that IT changes are managed and released into the production environment based on appropriate planning and rollback procedures and communication.
-Monitor the organization’s technology security and identify the risks and design effective controls that enable the restriction of residual risks to tolerable levels.
-Providing the basis for all decision-making with regard to the architectures.
-Leading IT Architectural Committee, organizing their efforts, and communicate their decisions.
-Promotion of existing technology to reduce costs and improve information flow.
-Ensure of proper implementation of SOA architecture and establishing targets for reuse of components.
-Work with solutions architects to provide a consensus based enterprise solution that is scalable, adaptable and in synchronization with ever changing business needs.
-Assist Solution and Technology Architects to ensure that their designs meet the requirements of the Architecture Governance framework and follow best practices.
-Maintain a solid understanding of the currently deployed technology stack(s) as well as emerging technologies.
-Improving the maturity level of architecture discipline within the organization.
-Participate in evaluating, selecting, and recommending various technologies to be implemented with the purpose of providing IT solutions that are aligned with the business goals and objectives and that are in coherence with the existing architectures.
-Identifying the relationship between strategic initiatives and their supporting dependent components (i.e. Technology and Processes).

Work Experience & Qualifications::

-Bachelor degree in computer engineering, information technology, or related fields.
-Minimum of 5 years’ experience (3 years in telecommunication) in enterprise architecture, solutions architectures or related fields.
-Strong knowledge in solution design and technical architecture.
-Strong Knowledge in telecom standards and GSM networks.
-Experience in enterprise architecture development and governance.
-Strong communication (presentation and written) skills.
-Ability to hold
-technical and business level conversations with stakeholders.
-Good Technical Background of Service Oriented Architecture SOA, Web Services, ORACLE Products (Siebel CRM, OFM, Weblogic, DB), Software Development Languages, Networking protocols.
-Good knowledge about IT security standards and protocols.
-Good understanding of projects management and IT management (i.e. organization management, architecture, solution delivery and service management).
-Ability to create a clear vision of future goals, along with an ability to develop plans for achieving these goals.
-Systems thinking - the ability to see how parts interact with the whole (big picture-thinking).
-Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand
-Knowledge of IT governance and operations.
-TOGAF 9.1 certification.
