Duties and Responsibilities:

-Perform operation and maintenance of the core platforms (BSC/TRC/RNC and other platforms
-Applying all requested Changes in BSC/TRC and RBS.
-Performing daily, weekly, and monthly routine health check.
-Performing routine weekly and monthly backups (CP, AP, ALOG, and OSS).
-Participate in all planned and unplanned Core Network activities.
-Reporting all O&M activities and Fault escalations to the direct supervisor.
-Following up all issues reported from Performance department to meet network KPI’s
-Meet Company SLA’s for fault-clearing times.
-To keep in close contact with Network Operation Centre to identify network problems in time and solution within minimum possible timeframe.
-Solving TTs by Troubleshooting BSC/TRC and RBS faults.
-CSR Handling.
-To be responsible for execution of approved work orders and solutions from engineering department as well as from vendor support to problems encountered on the network.
-Software rollout and level consistency checks for BSC/RNC.
-New features testing and implementation.
-BTS software testing.
-New RBS site definition, Activation and health check.
-Make sites rehoming between BSC’s.
-Perform HW expansions in BSC/RNC .
-To be 24h/7d On-call and onsite available if needed.
-Adherence to processes.
-Ensure the quality of work delivered.
-Good knowledge of using OSS tools.
-To share knowledge and skills with colleagues required for unit activities.
-Participating Core Projects and report all accomplished tasks to the Project manager.
-Performing all needed software upgrades and minor updates.

Work Experience & Qualifications::

-Bachelor’s degree in Telecom/electrical engineering or equivalent.
-Minimum 2 years of experience in similar field (fresh graduates welcome to apply).
-Deep Knowledge of SS7 protocol.
-Deep Knowledge of all traffic cases flow.
-Knowledge in 2G/3G network technology equipment’s.
-Basic Linux/Unix skills.
-Excellent MS Office skills.
-Organization commitment.
-Flexibility.
