Role Summary & Duties and Responsibilities:
Role Summary
The Data Analyst role is to perform logical data modelling, to identify patterns in data, design and create reports. The Data Analyst is responsible for completing and defining deliverables on time.
Moreover, the Data Analyst performs a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, producing all kind of reports within this function, coordinating and communicating with all involved parties; and communicating the progress of work.
Duties & Reponsabilites
Performing statistical analysis of business data.
Producing the daily, weekly & monthly reports relevant to different marketing activities and all key business issues.
Analysing marketing activities outcome (promotion, traffic evaluation, subscribers, churn, and competition Analysis, Customer Value and behaviour segmentation).
Post launch reviewing, evaluation, and analysis for campaigns and offers.
Developing MKT KPI dashboard, ensuring a proper definition and data consistency of presented information.
Assisting in the development of management, narrative, and statistical reports for business reporting and planning purposes
Providing the standard report required by each different area as well as AD-HOC information needed and drives data mining policy in coordination with marketing departments.
Managing projects on data mart and business decision support system/ marketing; developing the definition of other data mart and analysis, Supporting the business / CRM and GIS data mart and ensuring integrity of data warehouse reports: recurring, as well as on-demand.
Supporting the MKT areas in the conceptualization and definition of analysis that require internal data.
Handling the process of gathering business reporting requirements through all WM departments and ensuring their consolidation, completeness, as well as producing and implementing the business requirements.
Building and developing multiple and reliable sources of information.
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position, experience in the GSM industry is a plus.
Bachelor degree in MIS, Finance, business or any related field.
Practical experience in statistical tools and techniques (Cluster Analysis, Decision Tree, SPSS, SAS..).
Solid understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
Possessing Sufficient financial knowledge in the areas of revenue and cost-to-completion projections.
Skills:
Able to understand and translate new technologies and apply to marketing.
Good Project Management skills.
Effective communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational, planning and analytical skills
Self-starter, energetic, and creative thinker
Ability to work under pressure and in fast pace environment
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and persuasiveness capabilities to lead projects to successful completion.
Creative and innovative
Team player
Advance skills in MS office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written).
