Duties and Responsibilities:

Role Summary: This position is supposed to perform all kinds of activities like system administration and configuration to ensure availability of system, service, and KPI achievement.

 
-Ensure all basic O&M of the assigned systems containing OSS and other NMS systems.
-Perform regular O&M activities, administration, backup, high availability maintenance, script writing and trouble-shooting of NMS to ensure the continuity of OSS services.
-Ensure regular O&M activities for Unix/Solaris/Windows OS, networks, and DB administration.
-Maintain the standard of NMS systems KPI by reducing outage.
-Take part in upgrading SW and HW.
-Take part in statistical data provisioning by using BI tools.
-Studying HW and SW offers and proposals.
-Ensure expert vendor support for UNIX/Windows OS, system high availability feature, database (Sybase, Oracle) administration, and Oracle/HP workstations problem & troubleshooting.

Experience & Qualifications:

-BA degree in electrical, computer engineering/science, or equivalent.
-Five year experience in UNIX/Windows administration and support.
-Two year experience in database & networks administration.
-Knowledge of GSM, WCDMA, and OSS architecture would be an advantage.
