Responsibilities:
-Procures the various needs of the company including computer equipment, network systems, telecommunications and general office equipment, furnishings, supplies and miscellaneous services.
-Prepare contracts for maintenance and repair of equipment, telephones and furniture.
-Verifies deliveries and invoices against purchase orders.
-Meets with requestors to ensure full understanding of the need and that the proposed purchase will satisfy the need of the requestor.
-Maintains purchasing records for each assigned budget object code.
-Assists in developing budget requests and justification.
-Makes recommendations for developing or revising internal procurement procedures.
-Researches and evaluates commodity areas and creates product standards for standardization and approved supplier/product lists.
Requirements:
-Minimum five years experience in supervisory level procurement position.
-Excellent planning, supervising, and organizational skills.
-Strong communication and negotiation skills.
-Ability to work independently and under pressure.
-Bachelor degree in engineering, accounting, business or equivalent field.
-Proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written).
-Computer Literacy knowledge (Microsoft).
