Role Summary: The role is within the Wholesale and Roaming within the Marketing department and responsible for roaming management. This role is responsible for managing roaming service through seeking new partners and enhancing footprint.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Enhancing roaming footprint worldwide and increase roaming revenues by optimizing roaming relationships and rolling out more operators and services:
-Seeking and identifying new roaming partners.
-Initiating the agreement process: negotiating deviations, signing and exchanging agreements, including preferred agreements with key operators.
-Arranging for technical tests.
-Launching commercial services.
-Sustain existing and grow roaming revenue.
Coordination and communication with other departments:
-Networks Department for network related issues needed for initiating IREG tests.
-Billing Department for TADIG tests and TAP file related issues.
-Finance Department.
-Fraud Department.
-Any other party involved in the roaming management process.
-Direct contact with external parties:
-Data and financial clearing houses, for all roaming related issues.
-Roaming partners, in pre-commercial and post-commercial phases.
-Vendors and services hubs, for all roaming related issues.
-Any other party involved in the roaming management process.
Roaming documents management:
-Responsible for maintaining updated versions of all roaming related documents, including but not limited to: AA12, AA13, AA14, IR documents, and PRA’s.
-Updating all internal roaming related documentations, databases.
-Any other documents management related to the overall roaming process.
SIM cards management:
-Responsible for exchanging test SIM cards with roaming partners.
-Responsible for managing activation and deactivation of SIM cards.
-Managing annual SIM audit with roaming partners.
General tasks:
-Provide support to the roaming team.
-Perform and manage any other tasks that would be assigned, to facilitate the processes within the roaming team.
-Adapting to changing business needs.
Monitor roaming performance and flag problem areas:
-Produces periodic reports on roaming performance.
-Monitors the performance of the roaming agreements and prepares monthly reports per service.
-Perform gap analysis for business processes.
Provide support to ensure effective and efficient supplier management:
-Follows up on supplier payments for Roaming.
-Coordinate and build relationships with the DCH and respective technological solution partners.
-Prepare monthly and weekly reports per service.
Experience & Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree.
-Experience: 2 - 4 years relevant experience.
-Preferred knowledge of wireless and telecommunications network (voice, roaming and data).
-General knowledge of Testing and Billing RA processes preferred.
Skills:
-Ability to partner with and support Area needs.
-Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills.
-Strong knowledge of end to end activation flow.
-Creativity and flexibility in managing multiple projects and issues simultaneously.
-Ability to understand, process and effectively plan and execute in a nebulas environment.
-Experience and success with change management; able to quickly change as required.
-Demonstrated experience in managing, motivating and training large groups of diverse and geographically disperse individuals with varying degrees of talent and technical expertise.
-Ability to drive problems to closure.
-Role model for demonstrating desired cultural behavior.
-Team oriented – proactively notifies others of direct/indirect issues that may impact their processes.
