Duties and Responsibilities:

    Plan, design, Implement, and operate VAS platforms and application.
    Handle VAS applications configurations and changes.
    Handle incidents  and troubleshoot applications problems.
    Handle and monitor VAS applications updates and upgrades with the vendor.
    Participate in application integration with other network elements.
    Develop software according to functional and technical design specifications.
    Create and design databases, views, stored procedures, SQL statements and user-defined functions according to business and technical needs.
    Prepare test Scenarios and test Plans development for the services( PAT, UAT, and E2E) in cooperation with P-SDM  department  and business owners.
    Monitor  system capacity ( HW, SW, licenses) to  meet business requirements.
    Prepare all procedures and documents related to daily operation and update them after system upgrade if needed.
    Trace and analysis problems between VAS platforms and other network elements mainly HLR, MSC, GPRS and IN.
    Monitor and maintain all interfaces between VAS platforms and other network elements.
    Prepare required statistical reports.
    Handle end user complaints on VAS related services within SLA.
    Work closely with 2nd and 3rd line support to solve customer’s  complains
    Perform proactive maintenance procedures (daily, weekly and monthly) to keep systems within required performance.
    Prepare and submit activity reports for projects and day to day operations (daily, weekly, monthly, and on demand)
    Work closely with business owners and other departments to design and deliver product services.
    Work closely with VAS platform vender to update, upgrade, and enhance systems availability, continuity, and performance.
    Manage and administer roaming applications.

Experience & Qualifications:

    Bachelor degree in Computer  system enginernig or any other related field.
    Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in related / similar role.
    Experience in ASP.net, HTML, JavaScript, JVM,  XML, , Visual Studio, Visual Basic, C#, PLSQL.
    Experience in DB design and administration.
    Experience  in GSM principal and standards.
    Experience in SS7 signalling and SIGTRAN protocols.
    Experience in Unix and Linux OS.
    Knowledge in IN systems and charging protocols.

 
Skills:

    Handle tasks under work pressure.
    Ability to work for long hours.
    Strong oral and written communication skills.
    Proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written).
    Computer Literacy knowledge (Microsoft).
    Advanced skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    Proficiency with MS Office suit (mainly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
    Excellent Communication Skills
    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    Excellent Team work and organizational skills.
    Excellent coordination and follow-up skills.
