Role Summary & Duties and Responsibilities:
-Planing, designing, Implementing, and operating VAS platforms.
-Handling Vas applications configurations and changes.
-Handling incidents  and troubleshoot applications problems.
-Handling and monitoring VAS applications updates and upgrades with the vendor.
-Participating in application integration with other network elements.
-Preparing Test Scenarios and Test Plans development for the services  ( PAT, UAT, and E2E) in cooperation with P-SDM  department  and business owners.
-Monitoring  system capacity ( HW, SW, licenses) to  meet business requirements.
-Preparing all procedures and documents related to daily operation and updating them after system upgrade if needed.
-Tracing and analysing problems between VAS platforms and other network elements mainly HLR, MSC, GPRS and IN.
-Monitoring and maintaining all interfaces between VAS platforms and other network elements.
-Preparing required statistical reports.
-Handling end user complaints on VAS related services within SLA.
-Working closely with 2nd and 3rd line support to solve customer’s  complains
-Performing proactive maintenance procedures (daily, weekly and monthly) to keep systems within required performance.
-Preparing and submiting activity reports for projects and day to day operations ( daily, weekly, monthly, and on demand)
-Working closely with business owners and other departments to designing and delivering product services.
-Working closely with VAS platform vender to update, upgrade, and enhance systems availability, continuity, and performance.
-Participating in RFP/RFQ  preparations  for new system requested by business owners.
-Defining SS7 signaling links for messages nodes according business requirement.
-Creating new short codes and SMS/MMS  application.
-Creating and defining SMS amd MMS  routing and destinations.
-Creating SMS contents providers accounts including info services and SMS2TV as required.
-Arranging and firing bulk SMS/MMS campaigns based on marketing requests.
-Configuring and adminstrating  Missed Call notification System MCN,, voice SMS,Email, and Fax services.
-Configuring and administrating WAP and internet gateway.
-Creating WAP gateway filters and zones according to adopted policy.
-Updating WAP gateway engine.
-Controling internet Access request.
-Configuring and administrating ring backtone systems.
-Creating new RBT content providers account and give them the proper permission.
-Defining new RBT categories and contents.
-Publishing approved RBT contents.
-Managing and adminitering  roaming applications  includnig. fwelcome  system, steernig, customer retention and others.

Experience & Qualifications:
-Minimum of 6 years experience in related / similar role.
-Knowledge in GSM principal and standards.
-Experience in SS7 signalling and SIGTRAN protocols.
-Experience in Unix and Linux OS.
-Experience in TCP/IP suite.
-Experience in mediation, roaming and messaging system.
-Knowledge in IN systems.

Skills:
-Ability to handle critical  and complicated tasks under work pressure.
-Ability to handle tasks under work pressure.
-Strong oral and written communication skills.
-Proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written).
-Computer Literacy knowledge (Microsoft).
-Advanced skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
-Proficiency with MS Office suit (mainly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
