The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees invites applications from
qualified candidates for the post of:
Psychosocial Counselor/ (For Female Only)
1-Vacancy number : 111/2013/X
2-Duty Station : Jerusalem Area
3-Grade & Salary : Limited Duration Contract (LDC) - Band “D” – S1
: 611.60 JD that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency.
4-Allowances : Dependency Allowances payable and other benefits
(Medical Insurance) & Currency Adjustment Factor
5-Qualifications:
-A university degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related field.
-At least two years of experience in psychosocial counseling.
-Basic computer skills.
-Good command of English and Arabic languages.
Competencies
-Ability to work under pressure.
-Excellent counseling skills and ability to work with female and male children, adolescents, adults and elderly.
-Good knowledge of animation techniques with children.
-Creativity and ability to take initiatives.
-Ability to perform activities such as drawing, painting, music….
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
A valid driving license.
