The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees invites applications from qualified candidates for the posts of:

School Principal

1-Duty Station : Hebron Area/Vacancy No. 129/2014/X
       Jerusalem Area/Vacancy No. 130/2014/X
         Nablus Area/Vacancy No. 131/2014/X
2-Department : Education Department
3-Basic Salary : 923.6 JD that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency.
Other fringe benefits include provident fund & health insurance.

4-Allowances : Family Allowances payable up to 7 children and spouse.

5-Qualifications:
-A university degree in a subject taught in an UNRWA school.
-At least one year Teacher Training Certificate.
-At least eight years satisfactory teaching experience in an UNRWA school of which at least four
years experience should have been in an administrative/supervisory capacity as Deputy School
Principal.
-Excellent command of spoken and written Arabic.
-Good command of spoken and written English.

Competencies:
-Proven skills in management and leadership.
-Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others in team working environment.
-Demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
-Ability to work under pressure and meet target deadlines.
-Problem solving and decision making skills.
-Proficiency in the standard PC applications used by the Agency.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
-Advanced degree in a related subject.
-Possession of a valid driving license.
