The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees invites applications from qualified candidates for the post of:

1-Duty Station : Jerusalem Area
                          Vacancy No. 168/2011/L
2-Grade & Salary : LDC Contract Band “E” – Q1
: 793.50 JD that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency.
3-Allowances : Dependency Allowances payable and other benefits
(Medical Insurance) & Currency Adjustment Factor

4-Qualifications:
-University degree of Electrical Engineering.
-University degree of Electro-Mechanical Engineering is preferable as an extra asset.
-Minimum of two years experience in the field of design and site supervision.
-Good command of written & spoken English .
-Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).
-CAD Drafting is essential for this post
-Ability to work under pressure.

Desirable Qualifications
-Design and supervisory experience in electro-mechanical projects.
-Knowledge of Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC).
-Knowledge of the local market concerning electrical and mechanical products.
-Knowledge of rules and regulations of local Electrical Authorities.
-Possession of a valid driver’s license.
-Engineers Association membership.

N.B: After the completion of probationary period of three months, candidate will be offered a contract for nine months subject to candidate’s performance and availability of funds.
