Social Worker

1-Duty Station : Nablus Area/Vacancy No. 095/2012/X
                              Bethlehem Area/Vacancy No. 096/2012/X
2-Grade & Salary : LDC Contract Band “D” – S1
: 611.60 JD that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency.
3-Allowances : Dependency Allowances payable and other benefits
(Medical Insurance) & Currency Adjustment Factor

4-Qualifications:
-University degree in Social Services or a related field.
-At least two years of related experience.
-Good command of written & spoken Arabic and English.

Competencies
-Basic computer skills.
-Ability to work under pressure and within a team.
-Ability to work under tight deadline with pending several tasks at times.
-Working knowledge of the refugee community and their socio economic conditions and customs.
-Knowledge of the habits and customs of the refugee community.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
-The contractor may be required to work beyond the regular working hours.
-Must be willing to travel and work in rural areas.
-The contractor must be able to support children, families and communities in a state of trauma
following an IHL violation or violent event.
