Introduction
“Ard El Insan Palestinian Association” is an NGO located in the Gaza Strip which was established in 1984 and it provides primary health services with a special focus on child and maternal health care and nutrition. It provides nutritional and health services to the most needy and marginalized children under five years, their mothers and families
This project will enhance AEI capability to provide complementary health and nutrition services.
TOR objective
AEI request for External Consultancy Services to implement “Women Led-Advocacy & Campaigning Training” within the framework of the project of “Provide integrated nutrition services for infant and young children in vulnerable communities in the Gaza strip”
The overall objective of the consultancy is to develop training materials on advocacy and behavior change communications (BCC). Furthermore, the objective includes the delivery of the capacity building program to Mother Leaders and AEI staff ensuring at the end of the trainings that mother leaders are fully capable to design and implement advocacy and Behavior change communication campaigns for the promotion of best nutrition and child care practices, as well as advocacy messages to relevant policy makers and influencing actors in Gaza
Scope of the work
- Train (16) mother leaders and (3) AEI staff to develop and implement advocacy and behavior change communications campaigns.
- Deliver 9 training days (3 days per group which contain 6 participants each) to the mother leaders and AEI staff to develop advocacy and behavior change communication campaigns.
- Total hours of training will be 36 hours (Each training day will be for 4 hours training (the training package for each group will be 12 hours))
- Prepare, conduct and analyze training pre/posttests.
- Provide training methodology for face to face training.
- Prepare advocacy training curriculum in accordance with the Save the Children 'Campaign Planner'.
- Develop training curriculum for behavior change communication (BCC).
