Union of Health Care Committees (UHCC) is a grassroots, community-based Palestinian Health organization and is non–governmental and non-profit making. It was established in 1985 by a group of Palestinian doctors and health professionals seeking to supplement the decayed and inadequate health infrastructure in Gaza Strip.

Union of Health Care Committees (UHCC) will implement “Rehabilitation and Reintegration for the Persons with Disabilities and Capacity Development for the Caregivers in Gaza Strip” project through partnership with Campaign for children of Palestine (CCP) and fund from Japan Platform (JPF)

Within this project UHCC is looking for a training company/ individuals to provide training session for 30 Care Assistant staff (and volunteers) who directly support the People with Disabilities under the supervision of physiotherapists and other medical profession at UHCC rehabilitation centers.

UHCC is looking for a professional training company to conduct training for 30 Care Assistant staff in the following areas:

• Management and Personality soft skills
• Health ethics and protocols.

Scope of work

The service provider is expected to deliver the following services:

1. 1. Needs assessment: The consultant/company will establish an assessment system and identify interventions to address the needs.
2. 2.Provide training in the following areas:

• Management and Personality.
• Health ethics and protocols.
• Specialty related skills ( Physiotherapy / social work)  

1. Reporting: At the end of the assignment, the consultant/Company will prepare a written report in English. The Report should include the salient features of the training activities, suggestions and recommendations emerging from the participants, compilation and an analytical note of the evaluation sheet (pre evaluation and post evaluation) submitted by the participants.

Training Timeline

6hours/ day * 4 days total 24 hours.

Qualification/ Requirements

• Demonstrated understanding of the work proposed in the TOR
• Strong professional background in providing similar training.
• Ability to complete the training within a set time frame.
• Languages: Proficiency in English.
• Computer skills: Proficiency in current office software applications

• Technical offer describing the methodology to be used.
• Financial offer to be submitted in a separate envelope.
• Certificate of registration.
• Company brochure.
• Website address.
• Professional profile including CV with experience and qualifications in conducting similar training sessions
