Objective of Assignment: 

The objective of the training is to build the capacities and skills of women committee under the WES project in order to enhance their representation and participation in decision making process in the water sector (7 women to participate in 3 days training), as well as build the capacities of female and male farmers from the targeted community (Al-Fukhari- East Khan Younis) on topics of gender, gender equity, women participation and GBV. The training will focus on gender equality in agriculture, sexual reproductive health rights, GBV in addition to leadership skills. Ultimately, this training will contribute to gender equity and the empowerment of women and girls in the scheme of the TWW management. 

The targeted women will be divided into five (5) groups (24 each), each participating in a two-day training (6 hours) while targeted men will be divided into five (5) groups (24 each) and participate in a one-day training (3 hours). Main deliverables include training development plan, 10 women and men groups (240 in total) participate in gender mainstreaming trainings.

Application process

The submitted proposal should include 2 (two) documents: a) Technical Proposal and b) Financial proposal, in Euro.  Each document should be enclosed in separate covers/envelopes indicating the subject. Both covers and a memory stick carrying a soft copy of the technical and financial proposal should be enclosed in another envelope marked “Gender capacity building ”.
