MA’AN is an independent Palestinian development and training institution established in January, 1989, registered by law as a non-profit organization. The main office is located in Ramallah and the other branch offices are located in Gaza, and Jenin. MA’AN's work is informed by the necessity of creating independent, self-reliant initiatives that lead to the development of human resources for sustainable development, which incorporate values of self-sufficiency and self-empowerment.

MA’AN in partnership with UNDP/PAPP is working on the implementation of the internship opportunities of Al Fakhoora scholarship and empowerment Programme alumni. Al Fakhoora scholarship and empowerment Programme is multi-faceted, with four main inter-related components all working towards the overall vision; quality education, student affairs; leadership development and economic empowerment. The economic empowerment component aims to bridge educational opportunities to success in professional life through career preparation, internships and networking. The expected outcome is to have the educational opportunities for targeted youth effectively linked to economic productivity of students’ families. MA’AN team provided efforts to standardize the project activities, this included providing a slandered toolkit for the internship modality and preparing a standardized employability training toolkit.

MA'AN is seeking to contract with a computer centre to conduct and manage the computer skills placement test for Al fakhoora alumni. This includes conducting computer skills placement test at the center's computer labs. The computer skills Placement test service should include the following:

Conduct the placement test template in the center computer labs. The placement test covers the following aspects:

Measuring the alumnus skills related to information and communication technology, computers, tools and programs.

Measuring the basic concepts of effective file organization and management.

Evaluate the understanding of main principles for the web browsing, internet security, and effective use of the internet.

Evaluate the basic skills of using Microsoft office.

Evaluate the ability to send and receive emails.

Provide the placement test results within two working days using excel sheet includes the following:

Alumni results.

The deficiencies for the alumni who didn’t pass the test.
