Conducting A study of social and economic resilience and protection for GBV Survivors in the Gaza Strip

MA’AN, in partnership with ActionAid Palestine, is currently implementing the "Humanitarian Program funded by DANIDA" which aims to strengthen the resilience and protection of women and young women affected by the protracted crisis and disasters in the Gaza Strip in line with IHRL and IHL. As part of this program, MA'AN will undertake a set of activities that aim at strengthening the economic resilience of a group of vulnerable women through supporting their engagement in small-scale income-generation projects, mainly food production and animal husbandry. In addition, the target group will be provided with capacity building and technical support to enhance their technical capacity to run their businesses. 

MA'AN is looking for a qualified consultant to implement conduct a study on the social and economic resilience and protection of GBV survivors in the Gaza Strip the study aims to examine the reality of social and economic resilience and protection of GBV survivors in the Gaza Strip 

Only individual consultants and group consultants are eligible to apply for this consultancy service. The consultant should have past expertise in the fields of economic and social resilience and protection. The consultant, should have the following qualifications: 

An academic qualification in a relevant field. Master's degree and above is a credit. 

At least 7 years of experience in working with NGOs in the field of protection and economic resilience. 

Demonstrated experience in producing research papers, studies and assessments in the area of economic resilience and protection for GBV survivors. 

Broad knowledge and excellent skills in data collection and analysis. 

Broad knowledge about research methodology tools and techniques. 

Excellent Writing Skills. 

Good reporting and communication skills, with specific reference to analytical reports and studies. 

Ability to develop concrete methodology and timeframe for delivering the required consultancy service within the specified duration
