BACKGROUND

The YWCA of Palestine is a non-governmental association initiated in 1893 by informal groups of Christian women and was formally established in Jerusalem in 1918. We envision a free and democratic civil society where women and youth are empowered to exercise and protect their political, economic, and social rights. The YWCA of Palestine has three thematic areas of work: Leadership Development and Civic Engagement, Economic Justice, and Just Peace. We are a rights-based association where all our programs and advocacy are based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

OVERALL OBJECTIVE

The YWCA of Palestine held its first international youth conference within the framework of UNSCR2250 back in 2018 titled “Youth Participate and Youth Decide: Towards Freedom and Justice”. This year, the YWCA of Palestine is planning to hold a national youth conference on UNSCR 2250 under the title “Palestinian Youth Deserve to Live In Peace” on the 12th of November 2022 in partnership with a number of institutions (to be named later). We are planning to host around 250 Palestinian youth from all areas in Palestine to share their ideas and perspectives about the UNSCR 2250 and how it relates to their reality of living under occupation and being confronted with social, economic, and political challenges on a daily basis. We are looking forward to having a number of implementable recommendations based on the conference’s outcomes which can strengthen and protect youth’s rights and advocate for governmental adoption of youth-inclusive policies in accordance with UNSCR 2250 and other relevant United Nations Resolutions.

The YWCA of Palestine requests qualified and certified public consultants to submit proposals to enter into a contract to perform:

• Detailed Price offer (in NIS) Including VAT,
• Official registration papers such as (Certificate of registration, Deduction at source certificate…)
• Tender announcement fees to be paid by the awarded company.
• A portfolio of previous work with similar functionalities.
• Curriculum Vitae of the experts conducting

Deadline for Submission and address

No later than Sunday, October 9 until midnight, the proposal prepared and all related documents.

All offers received after the deadline will be automatically excluded.
