External Training on MHPSS ER for Children
Médecins du Monde (MdM) France is an international medical organization, which has been present in the Palestinian territory since 1995. It operates in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank (WB) through offices located in Jerusalem, Bir Zeit, and Nablus.
General Objective: To enhance the skills and capacities of MHPSS team to implement mental health and psychosocial interventions, individually or in groups, for children from 8-17 years in emergency settings. Scope of work
Design, facilitate, and deliver a 5-day training program tailored to the specific needs and context of the target audience. Timeframe: between December 2024 and February 2025.
Methodology
Facilitate interactive and safe discussions encouraging participation, active listening, and the sharing of experiences among participants.
Facilitate practical and skill-building activities utilizing group discussions, case studies, role play, hands-on practices (learning by doing), and other means to enhance practical skills and knowledge application.
Qualifications
Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) interventions for children with a minimum of three (3) years.
Delivering similar training in comparable settings, with a particular emphasis on working with children from diverse geographic regions and group compositions with at least a minimum of three (3) years of experience.
Delivering training in emergency settings (highly desirable)
