Consultancy Services to Support Capacity Building and Prototyping of Humanitarian Innovative Initiatives in Gaza

MA’AN Hub for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (HIE) is a center that works to spur innovation and entrepreneurship across the Gaza Strip. It fosters innovation to address economic and environmental challenges. The Hub is part of the Social & Economic Empowerment Program at MA’AN Development Center. The Hub partners with leading higher education institutions, research laboratories, and the private sector to help empower innovators and entrepreneurs, provide education services, guidance, and direction, and finally engage them with the Palestinian local market. The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub is keen to integrate a gender perspective into its development process and to enhance programs emphasizing green and sustainable practices. The Hub intends to approach economic and environmental challenges in the Gaza Strip with innovation by developing creative and sustainable solutions.
MA'AN Hub is launching a project to support the entrepreneurial community in the Gaza Strip in developing and implementing innovative solutions that address the pressing humanitarian challenges facing conflict-affected populations. By applying new ideas, technologies, and approaches, the project seeks to enhance protection and improve humanitarian aid's delivery and impact.

To achieve this, MA'AN’s Innovation Hub will collaborate with consulting firms with expertise in humanitarian innovation to support young entrepreneurs in building their capacities and prototyping two innovative solutions. These solutions will focus on addressing the protection needs of the vulnerable populations in Gaza.
