Al- Hayat Company for studies & research will start a project entitled “Medical Waste Management”, funded by MedUp! Promoting Social Entreprensurship in the MENA region.. The project will contribute to Promote save disposal of medical waste in institutions which generate medical waste
Objectives of the Assignment:
This assignment will provide all the necessary requirements for the management of medical waste in addition to use the deliverables for raising awareness of the community about medical waste.
The assignment has three main functions:

- Provide consultancy services for designing two guidelines of safe disposal of medical waste from generation to final treatment of medical waste according to international standards and regulations, and regulations and standards followed in Palestine.
- Prepare & conduct training material for training in medical waste management for 25 – 30 young fresh graduates from health sector
Prepare & conduct training material for training on research in medical waste management
Qualifications:
The candidate must meet the following qualifications as minimum:
∙ Minimum Bachelor Degree in health sector (nurse, pharmacist, medical technologist) .
∙ Minimum 3 years of experience working in the field of infection control and medical waste management & research in the same field.
∙ Good Knowledge of laws, guidelines, regulations and standards followed in Palestine
∙ . Good knowledge of latest development in international best practices & regulations in related to the topic
∙ Be highly committed, able to work with a team spirit, and meet deadlines.
