Background
SOS Children’s Villages is a worldwide organization in 136 countries that enables children to have a loving home with parents or caregivers. SOS Children’s Villages – Palestine is a member association of SOS Children’s Villages International. We began our work in Palestine in 1966, the first SOS in the Middle East.
Objective
SOS Children’s Villages Palestine seeks to develop and carry out maintenance on the SOS Palestine main website, www.sos-palestine.org. The website needs to better reflect the visual and brand identity of SOS Children’s Villages, and adopt the new payment methods available in the market and online merchant system that will be linked with outsourcing payment companies and banks.
Aim of the project
To develop a new website layout and dashboard, strengthen server capacity, improve size, quality and flexibility. Our goal is to develop an advanced layout that guarantees better donor experience with a user-friendly edition, and for the website to allow integrations with CRM software such as Salesforce, online payment merchants, and recurring payment solutions.

Deliverables
• Assess the current SOS CV Palestine website structure and contents for ease of accessibility, quality of contents, user-friendliness, ease of maintenance/update, and information retrieval.
• New developed website version – to build a new WordPress dashboard/platform and integrate it with CRM-Merchant payment system with all required details, plugins and technichal aspecs.
• New trusted version that allows recurring payments to be flexibly integrated through adding plugins.
• Develop a user manual and deliver training to the support staff and system administrators to perform the content upload, system maintenance, and administration
• High response rate for urgent issues 24/7.
• Warranty and maintenance service.
• Ensure that the website is a security audit.
• Provide technical support from the date of service completion and annual maintenance of website technical support as required for the contract period.
• Provide analysis of the website twice a year and support with advance development recommendations
• Mobile and portable devices Responsive Design
• Abide to service Level agreement
• All the plugins purchased or developed through the website should be legal, licensed by vendor BUT owned by SOS Palestine.
Timeline
Timeframe: December 13, 2022 – January 31, 2023
Qualifications of the supplier/Technical Requirements
• Contractor must be a legal entity registered in Palestine.
• Proven and solid knowledge and experience in providing similar service to international organizations
• Proven experience in e-commerce solutions implementation (online payment merchants and related integrations) and donor’s friendly websites.
• Vendor to provide company profile including links and samples of work and nominated account manager/staff’s CVs.
• The Vendor should provide a proposal which includes a brief implementation plan and timeline
• Solid knowledge on website security and website hosting service
• Direct related experience and competency in web development field
• Technical capacities to ensure smooth, on-time and high-quality delivery of tasks
• Proven ability to commit to timeframe of agreed action plan
• Must refer to SOS Children’s Villages Key Messages and policy in branding after coordinating with communications officer. Media guidelines will be provided after agreement.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure, also high ability to communicate in English and flexibility of work team.
• Work closely with the existing SOS staff during the implementation phase
• Provide ongoing technical support as well as support services
Key reference materials
All SOS-produced material must comply with the SOS Children’s Villages Design Manual Principles which will be available for reference to the supplier by the communications officer.

The supplier shall comply and provide written agreement to all terms of Code of Conduct, Child Safeguarding Policy, Media and Communications Policy.
Intellectual Property
All outputs produced in this action shall remain the property of SOS Children’s Villages Palestine who shall have exclusive rights over its use.
